A HUB FOR BACKYARD LAND MANAGEMENT

Landscape assessments, rebates for conservation, education & outreach, resources & more

The Math:

  • Each square foot of irrigated turf requires 14 gallons of water per irrigation season.
  • That’s 35,000 gallons for an average 2,500 square foot lawn.
  • When watered and maintained effectively, replacing turf with sustainable landscaping can potentially reduce your outdoor water use by 50-60%
  • Less water, lower bills

Landscape Assessments:

  •  Providing consultation, resources & guidance towards sustainable landscaping
  • Providing you the best return of investment

Rebates:

  • Upgrading inefficient irrigation systems
  • Turf Removal
  • Firewise Planning

Education & Outreach:

This program empowers our community to take action as it relates to water efficiency. Look for educational events such as rain barrel workshops, DIY guides, demonstration gardens and more.

Western water is increasingly in the news, as the aridity of the West and ever-changing climate reduces the amount of water flowing in our streams. Therefore, conservation programs and action are critical to protect our water supplies and offset increasing costs.
